Peachy Keen is in full holiday swing after last Thursday's festive and fun Holiday Gala! We had so much fun decorating the store, "dolling" up the models, and sharing holiday cheer with all of our guests!
Our modern color palette forthe decorationsincludes bright pinks, purples, greens, blues and of courselots of glitter!Once the glittered snowflakes and ornaments were hung up at the front of the store, it really started to feel like a winter wonderland at Peachy Keen! We especially love when the sun shines through catching the shimmer of the decorations, giving the store a glow of holiday magic.
Our internClairecreated tons ofPintrestinspired bows to line the runway. A huge bow decorated the very front, making it look like one big present! Everywhere you look snowflakes hang and ornaments dangle. Our snow dusted wine bottles added the perfect touch of flare, everywhere they were placed throughout the store.
For this show,Karly and Jendid all of the makeup and hair themselves and it looked superb! The theme of the show, was inspired byThe Nutcracker, as all of the models looked like little dolls. With french braided pigtails and exaggerated eyelashes they could have easily been presents themselves! Their makeup was complete with just a touch of bright red lipstick in the very center, creating a cute doll look.
The idea behindall the lookswas holiday glamour, without going overboard on the typical green, red, sparkles or dreaded Christmas sweaters! From casual holiday house parties to elegant and upscale festivities, the models strutted their stuff on the runway in three different outfits. With only six models, they effortlessly pulled off the quick changes backstage! We finished off the show with the very best of ourholiday cocktail dresses, and we all couldn't help but check our calendars hoping for a party to wear one of these to!
Of course it wouldn't be aPeachy Keenparty withoutfestive drinks and treats! We're totally spoiled here withSimply Bliss Cupcakes! Kimberly from Simply Bliss is a genius with it comes to cupcakes! If you attended our grand openingFall Fashion Show, you got to sample her creations! This time she supplied us with four different holiday flavors; eggnog, chocolate peppermint, cranberry, andpeppermint vanilla topped with yogurt pretzels! We made sure to taste test all of them and still can't choose a favorite! To compliment the cupcakes,Donna mixed up a wonderful caramel spiked cider concoction. The cider truly "warmed" everything in the room!
Now the only thing we have left to do to is shop... for everyone on our list of course! But we have to ask, is it ever really possible to shop for others without adding something else to your list?
